AQUARIUM CARE, IN THE EVERYDAY

Care in view.

Collect visible particles

Circulate aquarium water

Keep an eye on the sponge

A PRACTICAL PART OF YOUR TANK ROUTINE

Give visible debris
a place to collect.

Uneaten food and visible particles can build up between maintenance sessions. The sponge helps capture debris as water passes through, while the pump keeps water circulating.

Sponge filtration

The sponge provides a surface for collecting visible particles carried through the filter. Inspect it regularly as part of your aquarium care.

Water movement

The powered filter circulates water inside the aquarium. Choose a model with flow suited to your particular setup.

A chamber you can see through

The transparent filter body keeps the sponge visible, making it easier to notice collected debris during a visual check.

Suction-cup mounting

Suction cups position the filter against an appropriate inside tank wall. Leave space around the intake and outlet for water to move.

LIFE AROUND THE AQUARIUM

From everyday viewing
to routine upkeep.

A filter that works inside the tank, with a chamber you can check as part of looking after your aquarium.

WHILE YOU ENJOY THE VIEW

Notice what is collecting

Look through the transparent chamber and check the sponge and water movement during your usual tank observations.

WHEN IT IS TIME FOR UPKEEP

Give the sponge attention

Disconnect the power before handling the filter. Inspect and maintain the sponge according to the supplied instructions.

SET UP WITH CARE

Position. Submerge. Check.

Use the instructions and rating label supplied with your selected model for installation and electrical requirements.

  1. Check and disconnect

Read the rating label and supplied instructions. Disconnect the power before installing or handling the filter.

  2. Position inside the tank

Attach the suction cups to an appropriate inner wall. Keep the water intake and outlet clear of obstructions.

  3. Submerge before starting

Place the filter at the water level specified in the instructions before powering it on. Never run the filter dry.

  4. Inspect and maintain

Disconnect the power before maintenance. Check the sponge regularly and clean or service it as directed.

Keep your usual aquarium-care routine. Collecting visible particles and moving water are part of upkeep. Regular filter care and aquarium maintenance are still needed.

A FEW HELPFUL DETAILS

Before it becomes
part of your tank.

Choose the model around your aquarium's needs, available space and intended flow.

What does the sponge filter collect?

The sponge is intended to capture visible particles and debris carried through it, such as uneaten food. Check it regularly and follow the supplied maintenance instructions.

Do all Power & Flow models look the same?

No. The 4W, 6W, 15W and 20W versions have one sponge section. The 25W, 35W and 45W versions have two, three and four sections respectively. Body size and appearance vary with the selected model.

How should I compare the Power & Flow options?

The power and flow figures are supplier-listed ratings for each model. Actual flow depends on the installation and filter condition. Check your aquarium's requirements and available space when choosing; a higher flow is not automatically the right fit for every setup.

Does the filter need to stay underwater?

Operate it at the submerged level specified in the supplied instructions. Place it correctly in the water before connecting power, and never run it dry. Disconnect the power before moving or maintaining it.

Does this replace regular aquarium maintenance?

No. Sponge checks, filter care and your normal aquarium-maintenance routine are still necessary. The transparent chamber helps with visual checks but does not make the filter maintenance-free.
